For my last post of 2019, I thought I would showcase some of my favourite local images from the past year and share my thoughts about the future of the area. As those of you who have moved here (thanks to Wanda) have discovered, we continue to live in a hidden gem of an area. For as long as I have lived in the Owen Sound area, I have been waiting for our turn to be discovered. And as we enter our 20’s, I feel like big things are coming our way.
Today, as I stretched out after struggling to come up with a blog topic for this week’s post, there it was, right in front of my eyes. And on my feet. My new Advantage Royal Group socks were talking to me. After Wanda was so kind to welcome me to her team, I thought it was my turn to talk about Wanda and her team’s thoughtfulness and generosity.
Last night, my wife and I had a last-minute outing with some new friends who just purchased a home near us from Wanda (about whom they can not say enough good things). Originally, we only planned supper, but as we messaged back and forth, we remembered that the Tom Thomson Art Gallery Movie series was on that afternoon. As we all love movies, our plans quickly morphed into a movie matinee followed by supper.
