I have long been fascinated by houses, how we make them into homes, and how they shape us even as we shape them. That fascination has carried through my professional life.
As Executive Director for Habitat for Humanity Grey Bruce, I experienced firsthand how homeownership makes a dramatic difference to the dignity and day-to-day lives of families. As a Vice President for Home and Garden Television Canada (HGTV), I was responsible for creating programming that inspired and educated homeowners across the country. As a partner in our family’s construction company, I spent many hours in house design, business development and, yes, hand sanding cabinetry in our workshop.
A career in real estate was a natural and joyful progression. It has been my pleasure to guide people, with care, understanding and humour, through what can be an emotionally charged and financially worrying process.
My clients continue to reflect a range of needs, goals and ages. I have a particular affinity with first-time home buyers, women in transition and seniors, and I am proud to be a designated Seniors Real Estate Specialist.
It would be my great pleasure to work with you.
